Now in its 10th season, The League to Dubai is recognized as a leading national amateur golf competition. The season long stableford event is unique in that it offers golfers the opportunity to compete in a league format played throughout the golf season. Leagues of 5  pairs provide competitors with 4 matches against the other entrants from their league, with the winners from each league qualifying through to Knock out stage. Knock out stage winners qualify through to the National Regional Finals..

League Stage

League matches are scheduled from April to August. Leagues are formulated on a regional basis with 5 pairs from the same locality placed into each league. Set fixtures are provided with players playing 2 matches at their home course and 2 away at their opponents course. 2 league points are awarded to each match winner with 1 point awarded to both  pairs should a match be tied. Matches are played over 18 holes from the competition tees. Wherever possible players from the same golf club are not placed into the same league.

Knock out Stage

Qualifying  pairs from each league will be drawn against other league qualifiers to play in 2 rounds of knockout competition, knockout matches are a 2-leg Home & Away format, with the winners qualifying through to the National Regional Finals
