The Abu Dhabi Matchplay Golf Championship is a season-long knockout competition open to all amateur club golfers across the England, Scotland and Wales.  The competition offers 2 formats, Individual and Pairs competitions offering entrants a fantastic opportunity to win through to The Grand Finals in Abu Dhabi where the overall winners will be crowned champions. Open to men and woman the competition commences with a unique 36 hole home and away 1st round, before knockout rounds determine the qualifiers who will be invited to one of 2 regional finals. The regional final winners will be invited to Abu Dhabi to compete in the Grand Finals.

Qualifying Rounds

Qualifying rounds will take place between June and March with the winners invited to national finals. With approximately four weeks to play each match. The first round takes place on a ‘home and away’ basis over 36 holes. A draw for home advantage  in subsequent rounds is made. Early rounds are drawn in  regions to minimize travelling distances, however, the further you progress the further you may need to travel if drawn away.
